NugLife - "Milly Joint" ft. Grandmilly

There's an indefinable yet undeniable quality about Grandmilly's music such that when LA producer NugLife brought together a dank roster of rhymers (including Planet Asia, Rome Streetz and Chuwee among others) for an album aptly titled The Beat Dispensary 2, Milly's joint was simply called ... "Milly Joint."

My man said, "When the water supply get low and aint no money to blow / And the constables won't respond to any crime outside your door / Controlling stock prices, covering up UFOs / The same ones genetically modifying food that I stole."

What more can one say?

Grandmilly - Cookies For Santa (Hosted by Shozae)

"This is more than music to me, this shit is everything / Sun, moon, and stars, the science of being / Chris Kringle, I'll call him Santa, that means Satan to me / When you black they be looking at you like you got a disease / So I keep a mask like it's Halloween for the quarantine." Grandmilly and Shozae are back with some seasonal presents of mind, produced by Zenan. This the same duo that brought us 2 Stoopid Dogs, Motel Six, Mausoleum, and Adventurelandso don't be surprised when the whole tape bangs. Great minds think alike. Touch the tracklist to download via Mediafire, or stream below sans outro due to Soundcloud being a tool of neo-capitalist oppression.

Grandmilly & DJ Surrup - Toad

A collaboration of Zero Klique MC Grandmilly (left) and DJ Surrup (right) has been long overdue, so when Surrup and Klique creative director BigZeem started tweeting about a triple ZERO radio mix featuring the two artists, it started to sound like such a meeting of the minds might actually materialize. A few days later it did. On October 25, Grandmilly and DJ Surrup released Toad, a three-song EP featuring beats and rhymes by Milly, with scratches and mixing by Surrup under the creative direction of Zeem. A celebration of character, Toad is grimy, sticky and dissectible. Stream/support below, then head to ZeroKlique.com to cop some exlusive merch, including the long awaited Adventureland cassette.

TrueFreedom x Grandmilly - Voodoo

Word on the Tweet is that Grandmilly and frequent collaborator Shozae have signed to a certain record label that rhymes with thrones stow. So if you don't already know, you'll soon know all about Grandmilly the rapper. But what about Grandmilly the producer? Well, here's a little-heard collabo he did with the truth speakers from The TF Society. Stop sleeping.

TrueFreedom - "Wicked" / "Money"

TrueFreedom is ALLAN and Keef, two hustle-minded Hempsteaders who clearly know some of the right people. Case in point: "Wicked" was produced by Grandmilly with a video by Numeral. It'll be on Voo Doo the Mixtape, coming soon. And the "Money" video, which as you can see features Grandmilly, was directed by Kenny Orlando. That song comes from the Trap EP, which is available for free with any purchase from the TrueFreedom Shop. Freedom is free, because it's inside you. TrueFreedom merch starts at just $15 though. Get more free at TFSociety.com.

Grandmilly - "Unleashed"

Grandmilly's the type of MC who's still killing shit even when he's just killing time. Case in point: what he just "Unleashed" over a beat by LA's Iman Omari in anticipation of the 2 Stoopid Dogs EP, another collabo with Midnite Society producer Shozae.

Sage Infinite & Grandmilly - "Hidden Language" Video

New video for "Hidden Language," off Black Market, the best album of 2015 that didn't make any other blogger's year end-list, because every other blogger is an asshole. Song produced by Shozae, video directed by Omar Jones, paper torn by Grandmilly, grand entrance by Sage Infinite, fez worn by QS.

Grandmilly & Shozae - "Above Water"

"Above Water" first appeared on Shozae's Beneath The Mantle Vol. 1 mixtape. More recently it landed on our very own LongIslandRap.Comp V1. Tuesday night Sho and Milly dropped the official video. If some of this footage seems familiar, it might be because we posted the test footage back in April. Guess we've been unknowingly following this song's progress for a while now. Nice to see it back again.

Grandmilly with Shozae & Theravada in Our Nation's Capital

In other Hempstead-related news, Zeroklique OG Grandmilly just co-headlined a show down in D.C. with Awful Records founder Father. Not listed on the bill but clearly in attendance as well were Theravada and Midnite Society's Shozae.

Below you can see some footage from their trip shot by Omar Jones with a Zeiss 50mm camera. The song playing throughout is "The Lords" off Grandmilly's Miseducation EP.

It's just test footage, so don't expect any video to come back in after the screen goes black.

Grandmilly - "Chocolate Tai" (Video Premiere)

If you've been following Grandmilly from 2012's BVNDVNVZ X BLVCK MVGIC to 2014's Mind, Body & Soul, then you've heard him refine not just his recording techniques but his songwriting skills and beatmaking abilities as well. If you're just now coming around to the new new, then prepare to be blown away like a cloud of "Chocolate Tai."
Peace to BIG ZEEM of the Zero Klique for offering Long Island Rap Blog the opportunity to premiere this new video for "Cholate Tai," a +VISUALAID production he co-directed with Chris X. After watching, be sure to stream the entire Mind, Body & Soul album below and download it via datpiff if you haven't already done so.
