If there's any lesson to be learned here, it's these nouveau hillbillies will buy anything you sell them. Elitist, some say cosplaying redneck rapping Republican. How's this? Anything besides being rich is excuses. A now-46-year-old said so at 34. Take off another 12, rack up a billion streams, and make five figures on it.  What's the difference between podcasts and AM radio? This has been a public service announcement.

Lil Tecca may have unseated Lil Nas X from atop the Billboard charts, but clearly the Lawrence rapper's biggest accomplishment to date has been inspiring a rewrite of this site's Submissions page copy, which had remained virtually untouched since 2014. Now that's a legacy.

Don Cash - "ODB Flow"

When we last covered Don Cash he was known as Mr. Cash. Since then, he's taken down a bunch of free releases and begun gearing up for his seventh solo project, which will be titled Growing The Fuck Up. If Cash has been growing the fuck up, his latest seems to indicate he's maturing into an old dirty bastard, at least in spirit. "ODB Flow" was produced by Complexx, a Lawrence-based producer who's worked with Cash on numerous songs including "iheart Hip Hop," which we posted back in November. Expectations are already high for GTFU but if this song couldn't even make the album, then Cash must really be up to something. Stay tuned.

Mr. Cash - Mid Life Crisis

Two of the most recent LIRB submissions come direct from Long Beach, where the boardwalk has been rebuilt and new apartment listings are popping up all the time, but many of the city's longtime residents and businesses are still working to get back on their feet two years after Sandy.

One guy who's clearly been on his grind lately is Mr. Cash, who sent his videos for the Complexx-produced "iheart Hip Hop" and the DJ DNA-produced Hate to Love Me" (both below), but humbly neglected to mention that he's dropped something like six albums/mixtapes/EPs over the past three years.

Both of the aforementioned songs are on Mid Life Crisis, Mr. Cash's 12-track album from early this year. Please dig deeper into his recent catalog, and look out for more from Cash and at least one of his LB associates coming soon.
